Built inside a Lagos teaching hospital, not a pitch deck.
Nigerian clinicians lose nearly half of every shift to paperwork instead of patients. That's the problem Lumina Comply exists to fix.
We build a documentation copilot doctors can actually trust: it drafts SOAP notes, ICD-10 codes, and NHIA-tariff claims fast enough to matter, and it never steps outside NDPA guardrails to get there. No shortcuts on privacy to hit a sprint deadline. No AI output touching a patient chart without a clinician's signature, full stop.
We tested the first version inside Lagos University Teaching Hospital. A small team of clinical informaticists and engineers sat with coders and physicians, watching where the paperwork actually broke down, ward by ward. That pilot is still the reference point for everything we build. If a feature doesn't survive contact with a real ward, it doesn't ship.
A small team, real backing.

Three rules we don't bend on.
Clinician trust first
Every AI-generated note, code, or claim carries a visible confidence signal and needs a human sign-off. Nothing reaches a patient record unsupervised.
Built for Nigerian healthcare economics
NHIA tariffs and HMO policy rules — Hygeia, Reliance, Avon, AXA Mansard — are wired in from day one, not bolted on later.
Privacy by architecture
NDPA 2023 alignment and af-south-1 data residency aren't a compliance checkbox. They're how the system is built, full stop.
We're still small and still close to the wards where this started. One hospital at a time.
Cut documentation time in half. Without cutting corners.
We're onboarding a small cohort of Nigerian hospitals and HMO-credentialed practices. If you process NHIA or private-insurer outpatient claims, we want to talk.
